About BCRF

This page is owned and operated by Jan Kåre Lokna aka Dizzy Badger. Part of the information on this page is in Norwegian only, my native language, but most of my recent posts are in English. I primarily use this blog as a Knowledge Base where I record solutions to difficult or common technical problems I encounter.

About me

I have been working in the computer industry since 1997, and I’ve been a computer aficionado since I got my first Commodore 128 as a child. I have a diverse background with a technical education in general electronics and a certificate of apprenticeship in computer electronics. I have later added a BS in Computer engineering. I mostly work with systems design and maintenance. Programming is just a hobby, though I write management tools for use in my day job. Currently I primarily work as a DBA, and I manage a security operations center (SOC) team.

I appreciate a comment on my posts if you found them useful or have some constructive feedback
